" Deep ruby. Exotic aromas of dark berry liqueur and truffle. A very dense, youthful wine with outstanding sweetness and depth of blackberry flavor. A bit less pliant today than the 2001 Calvario but still extremely unevolved. May be the best vintage yet for this bottling, but needs at least four or five years of additional bottle aging. "
