($18) Pale chartreuse-green color. Vibrant lime and lemon peel on the nose, with complicating mineral and quinine notes. Racy, sharply focused and light in body, with vibrant citrus and quince flavors. Lime zest and white pepper notes on the finish give this a palate- and gum-numbing quality that nightclub-crawlers from the '80s might wistfully recall. Finishes dry, brisk, fresh and impressively long.
($18) Light straw. Mineral-accented pear and peach aromas are enlivened by citrus zest and white flowers. Refreshingly bitter lime and quince flavors gain depth with air, picking up a tangerine note. No herbal qualities that I can find. The clingy finish features impressive freshness and persistence.
($15) Light yellow. Spicy pear, quince and tangerine scents are brightened by chalky mineral notes. Fleshy and sweet, with ripe orange and honeyed pear flavors, a touch of warmth, and a slow-building spice note on the finish. Firms up with air, showing a bitter peach pit note and finishing with sweet citrus flavors.
