2004 Angus Wines Shiraz A3 Hindmarsh Island

($50) Deep ruby. Deep, powerful scents of blackberry, blueberry and plum jam veer into liqueur territory. Lush and creamy, with serious heft and candied dark berry preserve flavors, a hint of mocha and soft tannins. Not exactly my style but fans of thick, superripe shiraz will really dig it.
