($11) Deep ruby. Intensely perfumed, seductive aromas of blackberry, cassis, cocoa and minerals. Lush dark berry flavors display very good focus and sweetness, finishing with good energy. This has the complexity and depth of fruit of wines costing two or three times more.
2006 Woop Woop Wines Shiraz South Australia
($11) Bright red. Jammy raspberry and kirsch on the nose, with gentle spice and floral notes adding interest. Juicy red and dark berry flavors pick up a deeper cassis note with air.
