2005 Bodegas Hermanos Perez Pascuas Vina Pedrosa Ribera del Duero
($22) Dark red. Dark cherry and plum on the nose, with a slow-building vanilla quality. Rather oaky in the mouth, with strong vanilla and clove atop ripe cherry and plum preserves. Finishes with a numbing oak quality but there seems to be ample fruit to absorb it with a year or so of age. (Europvin USA, Oakland, CA)
