($24) Bright red. Sweet vanilla and candied red berry aromas, with a chocolate topnote. Lush, sweet and round, the deep red fruit flavors gently buffered by soft tannins. Finishes with a distinct sweetness. Fans of sweet, oaky wines will prize this more than I did, but I'd be the last to deny its appeal. (Bon Vivant Imports, Boise, ID)
