Pale straw. Varietally accurate citrus and pungent herb aromas, with a sexy white flower quality. Clean and energetic, offering vibrant lemon, orange and pear flavors and a light, brisk texture. Finishes juicy and focused. Really tasty white wine.
Green-straw color. Intensely perfumed nose features ripe citrus and peach aromas verging on cologne-like. Deep lime and candied apple flavors are atypically concentrated, which may be too much of a good thing. Finishes with palate-staining persistence and sap. This needs food in a big way.
(a blend of verdejo and viura, from vines reportedly over 50 years old) Bright straw. Pungent herb-accented orange and pear aromas expand with air, picking up a complex array of spice notes. Orchard and citrus fruit flavors display an exotic anise quality, and impressive finishing thrust. Quite silky and suave, with the concentration to stand up to strongly flavored or grilled fish dishes.
Ruby-red. Vivid strawberry and raspberry aromas display impressive purity and focus. Silky in texture, with sweet red berry flavors and subtle herb and baking spice accents building with air. Takes on a gentle peppery quality on the long, juicy finish. Light-bodied and flat-out delicious, with a distinctly exuberant personality.
