With Bordeaux prices continuing to fall, early tasters who witnessed the unveiling of the 2002 vintage at the Union des Grands Crus tastings in early April were there because they sniffed a bargain. In fact, the 2002 vintage produced many excellent wines in the Northern Medoc and some pleasant surprises on the Right Bank.
