Our Shipping & Delivery Policy
Shipping Policy
We are committed to getting our wines to you in the same pristene condition they left our shop. We pack all orders for shiping in Styofoam shippers. We may from time to time delay shipments during extreme weather conditions and will notify you in this event at time of purchase.
Interstate shipment of wine is highly regulated and subject to frequent change. The following states do not allow us to ship: Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Tennessee, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, Virginia and Utah.
Signature Policy
All customers of 56 Degree Wine must be 21 years of age and all packages shipped by 56 Degree Wine require Adult signature. We recommend shipments be made to a business rather than residential address whenever possible. 56 Degree Wine is not responsible for any damages or shipping costs resulting from packages returned because no adult was present to sign for the package. Under no circumstances will wine be delivered without adult signature.
By purchasing wine from 56 Degree Wine/Wine Holdings Inc, purchaser agrees to and acknowledges and takes full responsibility for the following:
Title to and ownership of all wine purchased at 56 Degree Wine passes from 56 Degree Wine to the purchaser in the State of New Jersey at the time of purchase.
The purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from New Jersey to their home state.
By arranging for transportation of the wine, 56 Degree Wine/Wine Holdings Inc. is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser.
By utilizing this service, the purchaser represents that they are compliant with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine.
The purchaser represents that they have obtained any required permission, have paid any required fees, are working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, are legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered.
The Purchaser acknowledges that they are 21 years of age.
Return Policy Returns
56 Degree wine is committed to your satisfaction. If you have a wine from us that you believe to be spoiled please contact us within 14 days of receipt via phone or email. Please save unused portion of wine to return for credit or replacement. Returns for any other reason should be sent to 56 Degree Wine, 40 Quimby Lane, Bernardsville, NJ in its original Styrofoam shipper. Al returns for reasons other than spoilage are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
