SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
LEGAL AGE REQUIREMENT: You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
By placing an order on line, you represent that you meet the legal requirement for purchasing alcoholic beverages, specifically that you are at least 21 years of age.
ADULT SIGNATURE: All shipments and deliveries require an adult signature. Therefore, all shipments and deliveries must be received and signed for by a person who is at least 21 years of age.
BUYER RESPONSIBILITY: Please be advised that most states have enacted laws to regulate the shipment of wine and other alcoholic beverages purchased in another state. Some statutes make such shipments a crime unless permits or licenses are obtained.
Many such laws, however, have various exceptions for wine purchased for personal consumption. Since these laws may affect your purchase from The Burgundy Wine Company, we urge you to investigate your state's laws on this subject before shipping or arranging to ship any wine purchased from The Burgundy Wine Company.
Buyers, and not The Burgundy Wine Company, are the owners and shippers of all wine purchased in New York from The Burgundy Wine Company. Accordingly, if buyers wish to arrange delivery of their wines after purchase , they are responsible and bear all risks thereafter, including selecting and providing delivery instructions.
The Burgundy Wine Company is unable to assume any responsibility for assuring compliance with applicable laws or obtaining licenses.
Shipment of wine to the following states is prohibited: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah.

TRANSIT TIME: Packages shipped within New York State typically arrive the next day. Transit time for other East Coast shipments is typically 1 - 2 days. Mid-West shipments may require 3 - 5 days. West Coast shipments may require 5 - 7 days. However, once an order leaves our cellar we have no control, and take no responsibility for, transit times, shipper delays or mis-routed packages.
ADDRESS REQUIREMENTS:
We are unable to schedule shipment to a post office box.
Please be sure to provide us with complete and accurate information including business name, building, suite or floor number, where applicable, as well as correct zip code.
Whenever possible, we suggest shipping to a business address to avoid delays in receiving your package.
LOCAL DELIVERY: We offer free delivery within Manhattan on all wine orders over $130.00. A $12.50 delivery charge will be added for orders under $130
