Craig Allen, Owner

Craig T. Allen is president and Managing Partner of Northeast Wine Development, LLC, doing business as All Star Wine & Spirits. He began his Wine & Spirits career at 20, during his college days, as a clerk at a local wine shop. Now 35, he has distinguished himself as a leader in the Wine & Spirits industry. Craig is a judge for Food & Wine Magazine's prestigious American Wine Awards and has written articles for the publication several times as well as being featured in Market Watch magazine. His current 12,000 square foot store has been voted Best Wine Store in numerous publications throughout the Capital Region since it's inception in 1998. Apart from wine, Craig's other passion is donating his time and energy (along with a lot of wine) to several of the region's charitable organizations.

Ralph Bonavist, General Manager

Ralph started at All Star in June of 2001 as General Manager and Senior Wine Buyer. He brings with him over 10 years of wine buying and retail operations experience, along with an amazing amount of wine knowledge. Ralph specializes in sourcing out incredible wine values BEFORE they hit the wine publications! He tastes thousands of wines from around the world yearly by attending numerous tastings, constantly looking for (and finding) the best price/quality values in the business.
