Our Shipping & Delivery Policy
In accordance with New York State law you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine or spirits. In placing an order with us, you are representing that you are at least 21 years of age, and may be required to present to us age verification.
Please Note: All wine shipments require a signature for receipt. Signatures must be obtained by individuals over the age of 21 years.
In order to maintain a high level of quality service, we ask that all internet orders attain a minimum of $30. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is available. Please call us to inquire about rates and availability.
Shipping
In most cases, orders placed after 2:00pm will be processed and shipped the following business day. We will contact you by the end of the next business day if there are any problems with your order.Orders are shipped via UPS Standard Ground Service and will arrive between 1 and 5 business days after shipping. Shipping rates
are as follows:
Base Fee per Order = $10.00 (1-4 bottles) $12 (5 - 12 bottles)
Per bottle charges apply based on quantity of product ordered. All bottle rates are calculated automatically based on final destination and are shown on the total of your order. Large format size bottles (anything larger than 750ml) will weigh more and need special packaging above the normal 750ml bottle - shipping cost will be adjusted on a per order basis (please call for cost).
We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or receive alcohol into any state outside of New York. The buyer is solely
responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, you
authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Although we try to keep all of our customers happy, we are not able to ship to New Jersey, Virginia, Maine, Maryland, Tennessee, Utah or Massachusetts. If alternate arrangements can be made to ship to someone in another state on your behalf, we will be more than happy to comply. New Hampshire residents are subject to an 8% sales tax. Hawaii residents please call for shipping prices.
Pennsylvania residents are required to have any shipment of wine sent to a state run package store, and will be taxed based on the municipality of residence.
(Please note when shipping to Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Liquor Commission mandates that any product that is currently available in the state of PA cannot be sold unless by a PA State run package store-
We are currently in the process of acquiring licensing from the state of Pennsylvania in order to deliver into the state- Please be patient with us until we are an approved shipper into the state of PA).
The following states are only able to be shipped to using DHL Overnight or 2nd Day Air Service:
AL, AZ, AR, DE, KS, KY, MS, MT, OK, RI, SD, VT - Air service pricing will apply.
Maine residents can only receive shipments c/o a licensed establishment (see below)
(UPS will not ship alcohol direct to residents in these states - DHL mandates wine to be shipped via air service)-(Ground service may be possible to the above mentioned states but only to licensed outlets; please call for explanation and availability).
For special shipping requests, such as guaranteed Overnight or 2nd Day Air service, please contact us for availability and pricing.
Note:
Any order that cannot be confirmed or processed by the last day of the respective month in which it was placed will be canceled online.
It will be possible to continue with the order afterwards, but it will show online in your profile as canceled.
Return Policy All Star Wine & Spirits is committed to the 100% satisfaction of our
customers, and we want to hear about any problems you may experience.
Should any product be broken during shipping, please email our Customer
Service department at info@allstarwine.com,or call (518) 220-WINE (9463) within 24 hours of receipt of the
goods so we can pursue a claim with the shipping company. We ask that any broken product be returned in its original packaging. It is understood that if the broken product cannot be returned, All Star Wine & Spirits cannot provide a refund for damaged goods.
If the product you receive is not the product you ordered, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the
goods so that we can resolve the issue in a timely fashion.
Please DO NOT RETURN GOODS to us without having received prior authorization from us. Shipping laws are very specific and we need to adhere to proper shipping procedures whether the wine is being sent FROM us or TO us.
All products at All Star Wine & Spirits are stored in a
temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving our store.
As is tradition in the wine trade, all bottles are
purchased at the buyer's risk. Any return claim will be addressed on a per order basis, and under our discretion, may not be refundable.
We assume no liability for wines that are overheated (leaking), or frozen, as a result of shipping. If you feel that temperature extremes (hot or cold) could pose a threat to the overall quality of the product, we strongly suggest that you request to have your order shipped via express air service to ensure the highest level of protection for your purchase.
We do understand that express service can be costly, and offer our warehouse as a safe storing option until weather conditions are more conducive to shipping safely.
