Our Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shipping Information

Canal's prices do not include shipping, handling, or sales tax (where applicable). Our products are packaged in FedEx approved shippers. Street addresses and phone numbers are required for all shipments. Order confirmation will be sent via e-mail. If you reside in a state that does not allow delivery (UT, MA, PA, AR, KY, MD, MS) please call us so we can arrange legal transactions.

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Canals Discount Liquor Mart to the purchaser in the State of New Jersey and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping it from New Jersey to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, Canals Discount Liquor Mart is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Canals Bottestop, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

Please note:

  • We do not ship internationally.
  • Our regular shipping days are Mon-Thu. All orders received online will ship Ground within the next 2 business days, unless a problem occurs with your order, in which case you will be contacted immediately via email or phone.
  • You can start tracking your package on FedEx.com the next morning following the shipping day.
  • If you are concerned about weather conditions in your area, we will gladly hold your order until proper temperature allows shipping. Meanwhile, your wines will safely be stored in a temperature controlled room.
  • Customer comments on order such as:"please leave package on back porch" or "please ring the bell at #32A" will not be taken in consideration, since we cannot give FedEx instructions for delivery! If you do have such a request please contact us to make arrangements suitable for you.

Signature Policy

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from Canalswine.com. All packages sent by Canals Discount Liquor Mart require a signature upon delivery. A business shipping address is recommended for best service. We will not process any orders that request the shipper to leave a package. An adult signature (21 years or older) is REQUIRED! We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package is returned because there was no adult to sign for the package!

Discount & Refund Information

Canal's offers 10% discount for cases of wine not on sale. If the item is on sale, there is no additional discount for case purchase. If you buy more than 12 bottles, the discount applies for the entire order. Also, there is a 10% discount for mixed cases of wines that are not currently on sale. (You need to have 12 bottles of wine not on sale in order to get the discount. If 1 bottle from those 12 bottles is on sale, you do not get the 10% discount).

All discounts will be applied when processing your order at the register and your total will be adjusted online when your order is fulfilled. Canal's guarantees customer satisfaction! If there is any problem with your order please contact us immediately. We offer a full refund within 30 days of the delivery date for any bad bottles of wine; please hold them as they are (do not empty the bottles) until we can schedule a FedEx pick up at no cost to you.
Attention: there is a 10% restocking fee for any other returns!
