Light, bright red. High-pitched red fruit aromas show a slightly jammy character and a hint of iron. Light-bodied, slightly edgy red berry and bitter cherry flavors show no easy sweetness and pick up a hint of musky herbs with air. Pretty uncompromising for an entry-level Beaujolais, finishing with strong cut and lingering bitterness.
