Finally, a Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc for Under $10
If you love New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, you probably remember the good old days when the entry level brands like Nobilo and Brancott were available for less than $10. Now those brands typically retail from $12 to $15, and until recently nobody has stepped up to fill the under $10 void. Recently we tasted a Sauvignon Blanc that we figured was another entry into the $15 price point based on the taste and quality of the wine. We were surprised to learn that it was actually something we could sell for $10.99 on the shelf. We also felt that if we lowered that price a little, we could sell alot of it given the lack of anything close to that price in recent years.
