Excellent $10 Barbera

A nice wine for the price--open and fruity. Not real deep or complex, but for what it is, there are no obvious flaws either. And even though it is approachable, it is not overly light: there is just enough weight--enough gravaman as it were--to give this wine enough respect to enjoy it as a nice accompaniment to a weekday meal.
