65% Roussanne; 30% Grenache Blc; 5% Picpoul. As alike as two peas in a pod, this bottling and its older sibling hit all the same marks from peachy, well-ripened fruit to ample viscosity to a faint bitter back end. Richness, rather than finesse, is its calling, and it too wants drinking with richer poultry and well-seasoned, meaty fish dishes.
Pale gold. Vibrant quince and green apple on the nose, with energetic citrus zest and minerals adding energy. Sharply focused lime and apple flavors are impressively balanced and clean, with slow-building honey and tangerine adding depth. Finishes with impressively pure, vibrant citrus flavors and excellent length. A very fresh blend.
