Pale orange. Orange zest, quince and a hint of dried cherry on the mineral-accented nose. Dry and nervy but also quite concentrated, offering pungent citrus and red berry flavors with complicating notes of lavender and spices. Shows a sappy quality on the long, clinging finish. Plenty rich but this wine is really vivacious too.
