Decant First

Awesome wine. Decant and let it breath for 20 minutes before drinking, and the the sharp, semi-astringent finish goes away (one reviewer complained about this). Also, the wine really opens up. I agree that it's front-of-the-palate sweet, but there's enough oak, spice, cassis, black cherry, and dark chocolate to round it off. This wine gets better and better as you drink it. I thought it would be a little more smooth by now, but the flavor is so big, it doesn't matter. Also try their Merlot...it's big enough to enjoy with chops. On par with good cabs.
