Exceptional Chilean Cabernet!

Generally, I am not a big fan of Chilean red wines. However, heavily decanted, this 2006 Cab from the Puente Alto Vineyard is nothing short of breath taking. From the deep brooding oak and dark berry nose, through to the firmly structured leather, black tar and cedar palate, this is a deeply complex World Class wine. The elegant tannins on the lingering finish leaves you yearning for more. An excellent aperitif that also pairs well with lamb, beef and mature cheeses. HIGHLY recommended.
