Merchant Reviews In the Northern Rhône appellation of Crozes-Hermitage, planting rights (extended by the French Government) are issued sparingly, with first rights given to co-operatives and second to young growers. This leaves little room for expansion for small, established growers such as Laurent Combier. Low-yielding, hand-harvested Syrah from this characterful appellation in the northern Rhône valley provides for this classy and fragrant wine.
