Before his death in 2004, Robert Ampeau made some of the most important, sought-after wines of Burgundy. His son Michel, who has managed the estate since the early 1990s continues in the family tradition.
The Meursault Village is comprised largely from fruit from the Sous la Velle vineyard. At over ten years of age, this fine white Burgundy is beginning to express the aromatics of a mature wine.
