This supple and fleshy red wine of elegant complexity and lively fruit aromatics comes from the Marches on the central Adriatic coast of Italy, near the Conero promontory.
Choice Montepulciano grapes blended in with a little (10%) Sangiovese are vinified for eight months in used oak barrels for added complexity. The result is a wine that combines juicy, robust fruit, round, resolved tannins and a long, spicy finish.
