5.0 of 5 Stars Outstanding Wine

A lovely wine. Smooth, fragrant and well-structured, but subtle, with well-integrated flavors. Very food friendly, but drinks well on its own.

Very smooth and tasteful. Robust flavor that goes down easy.

Beautiful rich Napa mountain Cab. Could use a few years, but is enjoyable now. Friends can't believe the price relative to the quality.

Carl Roy is always a joy and the Spring Mountain is no exception. Terrific nose and hugely concentrated with clean primary fruits and nice structure. I think this will age for a decade.

Very good, a bit youthful and big, but a good value for sure. Thank you!

My husband and I both liked it, we visited Spring Mountian in Napa a few years back and our favorite Napa wines all seem to be Spring Mountain. Carl Roy a bit more affordable than most these days, thankfully.
4.0 of 5 Stars ALWAYS nice-will not disapoint

Very smooth and elegant almost as good as Cerl Roy's 2007 Howell Mountain which I felt was a five star wine

What a joy to savor the Carl Roy cab. Rich berry with a smooth finish.
3.0 of 5 Stars Not bad but not great either

For the WineAccess price, this isn't necessarily a disappointment but I won't be ordering more. Found it to be inferior to wines like the Bugay. Concentration was average. No unpleasant character or aroma, just not the concentrated structured cab I was hoping for.
2.0 of 5 Stars Surprisingly average

I was disappointed in this wine - surprisingly average with little structure and no typical Spring Mountain character. It did enhance my tomato sauce though!

The description of this certainly did not live up to the hype. I found the wine to be well made, but very ordinary & forgettable
