Perfumed, complex scents of melon, white peach and jasmine, with a smoky topnote. Juicy and penetrating, offering spicy pit and orchard fruit flavors and a jolt of chalky minerality. The mineral quality adds lift and bite to the finish, which lingers with impressive persistence and vivacity.
Pale yellow with a strong bead. Ripe pear and white peach on the nose, with notes of tarragon and lemon thyme adding complexity. Buttery orchard and pit fruits stain the palate, with zesty citrus and mineral notes adding urgency and lift. Repeats the butter and peach notes on the long, sappy, impressively powerful finish. Serve this supple Champagne with a richly sauced piece of fish or fowl.
