Moderately saturated medium red. Redcurrant, smoke and truffley underbrush on the nose and palate; very Gevrey. (The 2010s show their terroir more clearly than the 2011s do, notes Laurent Lignier.) Supple, sweet and moderately intense; a bit loose-knit for the year. Finishes with dusty tannins and decent grip. This wine may offer an early window of enjoyment but I would not be surprised if it shut down in the bottle within a year or two.
