Deep ruby. Complex scents of cherry, redcurrant, tobacco and licorice, with a slow-building floral quality. Sappy and expansive, offering juicy red fruit flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and candied rose. Shows very good energy on the finish, which leaves behind notes of licorice and bitter cherry. To call this wine a good value would be a serious understatement.
