Bright ruby. Fresh, mineral-accented red berry and floral aromas are complemented by notes of spicecake and licorice. Juicy and precise, with a seamless texture to its zesty raspberry and bitter cherry flavors. Closes with impressive energy and cut, leaving pepper and candied rose notes behind. This 100%-grenache wine is made from a schist- and granite-based vineyard just south of Cornas. Texier believes that this is the most northern planting of grenache in the Rhone Valley.
