(25% new oak, down from 33% in 2009): Medium yellow with a gold tinge. Exotic aromas of pineapple candy, butterscotch and minerals. Fat and sweet but with a firm mineral edge to the candied lemon peel and yellow plum flavors. Round, soft and inviting chardonnay, showing better integration of oak than the 2009 version.
