Good bright, pale yellow. Ripe aroma of yellow peach, lemon, honey and earth. Broad, suave and dry, with a light touch to the flavors of stone fruits and lemon. Excellent acidity and underlying minerality give cut to the building finish. With its felicitous combination of stuffing and balance, this 2011 needs at least a few years in the cellar. Prost pointed out that wines from Puligny-Montrachet had higher acidity than those of Meursault in 2011.
