Place to Eat: N.Y. PRIME

I worked in NYC for 23 years, frequented Steak Row on a regular basis and was quite surprised when Sparks came midtown to challenge and win (or maybe you'll get shot). NY Prime was a pleasure to find; finally a NY Steakhouse; better than the overpriced chains. Sure a one pond potato with all the fixings costs $7.50; everything is like NY. Long narrow room with dark furniture, crisp white tableclothes and exposed kitchen like original Palm without the cartoons (Except cleaner and classier). Great steaks, sides, cocktails and wines with super service. M.B. is no longer the Redneck Riviera!
