5 Stars for the Money.

This is definitely Americas equivalent to Yquem. I recently had both side by side with desert after dinner. $200 price difference between the bottles, and about $2 difference in taste. Still, $90 is high for just a half bottle, but it beats $250+
Fantastic!

Having just returned from a tour of Far Niente's stunning winery, I have made a spectacular discovery. Their Dolce is by far their greatest bottling this year. I have to admit to never being a fan of sweeter wines, but this one is exceptional! Pair it with a good, aged gorgonzola and you have desert.
Sweet Treat

Although I'm not much of a desert wine drinker, this semillon is an absolute treat. (If you research the noble-rot process it's an interesting way to produce wine.) Starting with the rich gold color, every bit of this wine is rich and engaging. Fat round apricot, nutty and honey tastes fill the mouth and then lingers sweetly for a long finish. This wine would be wonderful paired with stronger cheeses, walnuts, and figs.
