Washington Hills Riesling Late Harvest Columbia Valley
Merchant Reviews
Columbia Valley, Washington- The enticing aroma is abundantly floral with orange blossoms, gardenia and ripe peaches. A mouth full of sweet flavors greet the tongue while the acidity gives balance inviting another sip. Enjoy with fruit desserts, or on its own after dinner. {Sweet, Peach, Medium-bodied}

This wine is a keeper! It is pleasant to sip early in the evening or after dinner. It is not tart nor is it too sweet. Enjoy.
5.0 of 5 Stars Yum!

This late harvest Riesling is dangerously easy to drink, just the right level of sweetness...not overly sweet. It is absolutely yummy and quenches your thirst. Didn't even try it with dessert, was too good all alone.

My first experience with a Washington wine, and it will not be my last. With a hint of fruitfullness, it was enjoyable and easy to drink. I highly recommend.
5.0 of 5 Stars Nothing fancy but nice
By Ortiz12273317, February 05, 2008
If you are looking for a nice, strong, tannic old world wine to impress at a very formal high class/society gathering, stop reading and look somewhere else. If you're looking for a nice, unpretentious, easy-drinking, inexpensive wine to drink with a very delicious and decadent dessert but that can also be enjoyed by itself, keep reading because you've come to the right place. This is a perfect choice if you want to take something to drink to an informal family gathering or get-together with friends and don't know what to take. It is very sweet but doesn't cloy and overpowers. You can't go wrong with this.

This is very close to what I'm looking for in a wine.
5.0 of 5 Stars Smooth Sweet and no Bite.
By Garbus11029577, August 11, 2004
This wine has all the character of Asti, but has the class of fine wine. The late or special harvest is a later sweeter harvest. Amazing quality, excellent for first time wine drinkers as a gift. OUTSTANDING!
5.0 of 5 Stars A real bargain!

Sweet but not cloying, this is the perfect desert wine when you don't want to spend a lot of money.
5.0 of 5 Stars late harvest in a light style
By Mike Criv, June 12, 2002
Sweet but not sugary, softly acidic but not flabby, rather like an Auslese - a nice after dinner sipper!

4.0 of 5 Stars Nice Riesling
By New2Wine, April 06, 2009
I had this wine based off of a suggestion by the clerk at Total Wine. I thought it was very good, and you can't be dissappointed for the price.
4.0 of 5 Stars Thanks again Washington state
By lash12140630, October 20, 2006
I think Washington state has perfected american rieslings, especially the late harvest type-also liked Pacific Estates when Total Wine carried it. A nice after finish. Great for late night sipping and waiting on the linger. Then go ahead - take another sip! What could be better, especially for the great price.
