Review of the 2001 vintage

One of the most impressive brunellos I have ever had. Full-bodied yet supple with strong fruit, the tannins are nicely resolved in this wine. Based on my tasting of the 1999 vintage (which was even more amazing), they are probably going to age nicely. Definitely a must-try.

Although this is my first purchase of Brunello. I thought this was a wonderful choice. We had prime rib on Christmas Eve and this was perfect with it.
