Very smooth, full bodied with yummy tame tobacco notes. Silky smooth tannins on the back end. Very easy to drink. One of the best tasting red wines I've had. I'd give it 96pts. This Rioja wine is worth 3x the price.

Wow, this wine has a BIG finish. Lasts 5 minutes or more. Big fruit, has that nice stemmy quality that I like but not overwhelming and nice soft tannnins. As a 2000, it shows its age very nicely and comes accross big, broad and smooth.
