Good ruby-red. Exotic, liqueur-like aromas of black raspberry, chocolate and mint. Superripe, thick and exotic, but with the minty element giving lift to the chocolate liqueur flavor. Very sweet and creamy wine with considerable early sex appeal. The tannins are fat and very ripe.
A Luxurious Merlot from France!!!

This wine has multiple flavors, raspberry, chocolate, mocha, blackberries, dark cherries. It is a very full-bodied wine and must be allowed to breath for at least 30 minutes after opening. It tends to be rather bitter after first opened and after you allow this wine to breath properly, the wine totally changes its flavor and becomes a luxurious Merlot that is difficult to put down. This is WONDERFUL with a fine cut of beef like a thick Strip Steak or a Beef Tenderloin or Beef Filet. Make sure you have a nice baked potato and some grilled or carmelized vegetables along with this wine. It is best with a nice meal but can stand alone as an evening treat. Although you will find that it is difficult to put the glass down too! This wine will shelf very well and I can't wait to see how it evolves over the next 10 years or so. Buy a case of this one because it is well worth the cost per bottle and you will enjoy this wine many times over. I give this wine a 94/100.
