This Fifth Growth Pauillac Chateau seems to be making better and better wines since the 2000 vintage, and at a very reasonable price at that. The 2010 has lovely dark earthy fruit, fine tannins and good concentration. Medium weight plus. Good solid fruit in a balanced frame. Nice sweet vanilla oak tone well suited to the wine. Region: Paulliac Fifth Growth, Bordeaux Grapes: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot & 1% Cabernet Franc Drink: 2021 - 2030
