One of the best I can remember tasting from this property, it is focused, intense and structured, with dark brooding fruits. Much more focused and tightly wound than the '09, more classically structured, compact and Medoc-like. Solid. Chewy. Firm but ripe tannins. Dense core of dark fruit on solid bones. Vg++. Solid and ageworthy. Region: Pauillac Fifth Growth Cepage: 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. Soil: Garrone Gravel (Gunzian, Quaternary) Vinification: 70% new oak. Drink: 2025-2040
