Chateau Fieuzal
South of the city of Bordeaux in Pessac-Leognan, the dry whites of Chateau Fieuzal are making a name for themselves. Among the deepest and most concentrated dry whites of Bordeaux in recent years, the exotic, oaky wines are an even blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The 48 hectare vineyard is planted with red varieties too, however; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The Lochlann-Quinn family currently own the estate, overseeing production of 2,500 cases of the white wine and 10,000 cases of red.
