About Turley Wine Cellars

1998 Turley Wine Cellars Petite Sirah Rattlesnake Acres Napa Valley
Producer: Turley Wine Cellars
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Petite Sirah
Origin: California
Region: Napa
89(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2000
Medium-deep ruby. Smoky aromas of blackberry, black pepper, black olive, bacon fat, eucalyptus and meat. Firm acidity gives the blackberry and pepper flavors an enticingly juicy quality and lovely inner-mouth lift. Rather Rhone-like in texture, but a bit dominated today by its tough tannins. Not as ripe as the '97.
