Good deep red. Fruity nose of cherry, leather, roast coffee and smoked meat. Fat, sweet and silky, with very good palate presence and noteworthy depth of fruit. Tannins are quite lush, but there's enough material and structure to support medium-term bottle aging. Still, this wine should be approachable early.
