Medium red. Extravagant aromas of raw crushed redcurrant, blueberry, gunflint, cedar, tar, flowers, tobacco and Indian spices. Concentrated, penetrating and densely structured, with fruit of steel. Turned a bit tough with aeration. Finishes very long, with firm but ripe tannins. Will require bottle aging. (Villa Italia)
