90(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2000

Deep red-ruby color. Perfumed, deep aromas of cherry, raspberry, violet, mint and smoky oak. Bracing, intense red berry flavors; boasts excellent thrust and grip. Not hard or austere but quite sinewy, relying for its structure more on acidity than tannins. Already quite aromatic in the mouth, and very long on the aftertaste. But needs several years of bottle aging.
