Superripe aromas of black raspberry, smoky oak and game. Sweet, full and lush in the mouth; less elegant than the above but more opulent and powerful. Good underlying structure. Finishes with substantial ripe tannins. The first vintage vinified by La Rioja Alta, which purchased the Torre de Oña estate in January of '95.
