92-93 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 1999

Paler color than the '97. Higher-pitched, less expressive, cooler nose dominated by spice. Thick but bright; spicy and youthful. Strong material here, but extremely slow to evolve and not yet showing much complexity. But boasts superb flavor intensity and impressive length.
