88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 1999

Ripe, smoky aromas of cured meat, curry powder and earth. Quite dry and uncompromising; less evolved than the above. A serious food wine that would go well with first courses like tomato with mozzarella, smoked salmon or herring. Good long finish features a note of rose petal.
