About Laurel Glen Vineyard

The precious 3-acre parcel that gave birth to Laurel Glen Vineyard was first planted by German immigrants back in 1880. But it was Patrick Campbell who rediscovered the plot in 1974 and set to work expanding the vineyard to its current size of 16 acres.

To be perfectly honest it wasn't I who ordered this bottle at my favorite restuarant (Smokes), but I wish I could gloat that I did. We were having the porter house steak and Lobster tail (delic!). After our waiter decantered the bottled and we let it sit I was ready for the first taste, I was nervous about taking the first sip, but the smooth texture enlighten my taste buds as the first ray of sun in the morning. It had a semi sweet complexity and the texture,...I found myself searching for a place to buy a case the next day. The search brought me here. I highly reccommend you try this bottle at least once.
