92(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2001

Deeper-toned aromas of apricot, smoky oak, mint, lichee and licorice. At once more concentrated and more fruity than the normale, but also uncompromisingly dry, with a strong flavor of apricot skin and spicy evidence of the 80% new barriques Not currently showing more length than the basic bottling, but this is richer wine.
