Very pale color. Utterly distinctive aromas of ginger, nutmeg, orange peel, bacon fat, violet, talc and redcurrant. Rich, round, spicy and deep; intensely flavored and brisk but really melts in the middle palate. Exotic spice and smoke notes from the barrel aging. Impressively concentrated and long. Singular wine.
