This is a cuvee of welschriesling and chardonnay, with a bit of pinot blanc. Fine, noble botrytis notes: subtly smoky and honeyed. Candied apple, blackcurrant, yellow plum, tropical fruits and white raisin all figure prominently in this enormously rich, yet elegant wine. Deft, kaleidoscopic finish in which sweetness, alcohol and acids are so well married that none of these elements is at all obvious.
